OVERVIEW:
The Bright Tangerine Misfit Atom Pola+ Matte Box is a lightweight grab-and-go matte box. With its 143mm OD lens clamp, the Misfit Atom Pola+ can be adapted to fit on the front of most cinema lenses while keeping a thin profile due to the front-mounting filter trays. Up to two 4 x 4″ or 4 x 5.65″ filters can be used this way. Additionally, using the included 138mm Rota Ring, +1 and +2 diopters or round filters can be implemented in this lightweight setup. This matte box kit includes a 15mm LWS rod bracket for securing to your cinema rig. In this configuration, the separately available Black Hole donut lets this matte box work with lenses of nearly any size. The Anti-Reflective Tilt Adapter, also included in this kit, tilts the filters in the tray by 6°, helping prevent internal reflections from strong light sources.
